A VISIT at night, 1951
I like the BEautiful and playful yet strange and enigmatic arrangements of Toshiko Okanoue SURREALISTIC collages. OKANOUE was was born in Kochi, Japan in 1928. While she was in college during the 1950's, she started to produce photo collages using images from fashion magazines. Some of her works were also selected for an exhibition at the NATIONAL MUSEUM OF MODERN ART in TOKYO.
